Agrotechniczne warunki uprawy

Stanowisko i miejsce w płodozmianie	Łubin żółty uprawia się na najsłabszych glebach klasy bonitacyjnej V i VI. Można również uprawiać na glebach klasy IV, szczególnie na nasiona, jednak muszą to być gleby w dobrej kulturze i nie mogą być podmokłe. Nieodpowiednie są gleby ciężkie, o zasadowym lub mocno kwaśnym odczynie (pH poniżej 4,5), a także gleby próchniczne, rędziny, zlewne gliny oraz mursze o wysokim lustrze wody. Należy uprawiać w 3 roku po oborniku, nie częściej niż co 4 lata. Właściwym przedplonem są rośliny zbożowe. Łubin żółty preferuje gleby o odczynie słabo kwaśnym.
Nawożenie	Nawożenie w zależności od zasobności gleby: P₂O₅ – 50–70 kg/ha, K₂O – 80–100 kg/ha. Nie ma konieczności nawożenia azotem.
Siew	Powinien być możliwie wczesny, zazwyczaj optymalny termin przypada pomiędzy 20 marca a 10 kwietnia. W przypadku uprawy na zielonkę w opóźnionym terminie – w połowie kwietnia; łubin żółty wytrzymuje przymrozki do około –7°C. Głębokość siewu około 3 cm. Łubin żółty kiełkuje epigeicznie – wyciąga liścienie na powierzchnię gleby – dlatego jest wrażliwy na zaskorupienie gleby i wymaga płytszego przykrycia. Rozstawa rzędów 12,5 do 15,0 cm. Obsada roślin 90–100 szt./m dla form tradycyjnych, 110–120 dla form samokończących wegetację (nierozgałęzione); w przypadku uprawy na zieloną masę również warto zwiększyć normę wysiewu o 15–20%. Ilość wysiewu: w zależności od MTN około 130–150 kg/ha dla form tradycyjnych, dla samokończących 150–180 kg/ha. Należy się upewnić, że materiał siewny pochodzi z plantacji nasiennych wolnych od antraknozy, ponieważ nasiona z plantacji porażonych powodują rozprzestrzenianie się choroby w kolejnym sezonie wegetacyjnym. Szczepienie nasion bakteriami nitryfikującymi (Rhizobium sp., Bradyrhizobium sp. – tzw. nitragina lub nitraza) bezpośrednio przed siewem – szczególnie na glebach, gdzie dawno nie uprawiano łubinu (10 lat lub dłużej). Należy pamiętać, że obsada i ilość wysiewu zależy od rodzaju gleby, przedplonu, wysokości oczekiwanego plonu, a także parametrów nasiona (MTN, kiełkowanie).
Ochrona roślin	W przypadku częstej uprawy na tym samym stanowisku zaleca się zaprawianie właściwą zaprawą nasienną. Stosowanie insektycydów oraz herbicydów według zaleceń IOR. W warunkach pogodowych sprzyjających rozwojowi antraknozy (wysoka wilgotność powietrza, wysoka temperatura, brak wiatru) zaleca się stosować zabiegi profilaktyczne właściwymi fungicydami według zaleceń IOR, zwłaszcza jeśli wystąpiły pierwsze objawy porażenia
Zbiór	Kombajnem, po zbrunatnieniu strąków i zżółknięciu łodyg, przy wilgotności nasion 14–15%. Zbyt niska wilgotność podczas omłotu powoduje pękanie nasion i mikrouszkodzenia w ich wnętrzu, powoduje również osypywanie się strąków przed kombajnem. Zbyt wysoka wilgotność powoduje wzrost liczby strąków nie wymłóconych i zmiażdżonych. Wilgotność w ciągu dnia jest zmienna, dlatego podczas omłotu dużych plantacji należy śledzić jej zmiany i dostosowywać na bieżąco ustawienia młocarni w kombajnie – młocarnia bardziej skręcona przy większej wilgotności. Motowidło na niskich obrotach i nie wysunięte do przodu, kosa dobrze naostrzona. Plantację wtórnie zachwaszczoną lub nierównomiernie dojrzewającą desykujemy, gdy przynajmniej połowa strąków zbrunatnieje, i po około 7 dniach przystępujemy do zbioru. Desykacja osłabia energię kiełkowania nasion, dlatego nie należy jej wykonywać bez wyraźnej konieczności. Po zbiorze, w razie potrzeby, dosuszyć nasiona zimnym, lub lekko podgrzanym powietrzem. Podwyższona wilgotność umożliwia wtórny rozwój grzybów i spadek energii kiełkowania. Obniżona siła kiełkowania może być również efektem mikrouszkodzeń powstałych podczas omłotu i magazynowania, dlatego z materiałem siewnym należy się obchodzić bardzo ostrożnie. W magazynowaniu i przerobie należy unikać przesypywania nasion z dużej wysokości, na twarde podłoże.

Agrotechnics

Position and place in the rotation	Yellow lupine is grown on the weakest soils of the V and VI valuation class. It is also possible to cultivate in class IV soils, especially for seeds, but the soil must be in good condition and must not be waterlogged. Heavy soils with an alkaline or strongly acidic reaction (pH below 4.5), as well as humus soils, rendzinas, catchment loams and high water-surface muck are unsuitable. It should be cultivated in the 3rd year after the manure, not more often than every 4 years. Cereal crops are a good forecrop. Yellow lupine prefers slightly acidic soils.
Fertilization	Fertilization depending on soil fertility: P₂O₅ – 50–70 kg / ha, K₂O – 80–100 kg / ha. There is no need to fertilize with nitrogen.
Sowing	It should be as early as possible, usually the optimal date is between March 20 and April 10. When grown for green fodder at a delayed date – in mid-April; Yellow lupine withstands frosts down to about –7 ° C. Sowing depth of about 3 cm. Yellow lupine germinates epigeally – it draws the cotyledons to the soil surface – therefore it is sensitive to soil crust and requires shallower cover. Row spacing 12.5 to 15.0 cm. Plant density 90–100 pcs / m for traditional forms, 110–120 for forms which end vegetation (unbranched); in the case of growing for green matter, it is also worth increasing the sowing rate by 15-20%. Sowing rate: depending on the TGW, approximately 130–150 kg / ha for conventional forms, 150–180 kg / ha for complete forms. It must be ensured that the seed comes from anthracnose-free seed plantations, as seeds from infested plantations spread the disease in the following growing season. Seed grafting with nitrifying bacteria (Rhizobium sp., Bradyrhizobium sp. – so-called nitragina or nitraza) immediately before sowing – especially on soils where lupine has not been cultivated for a long time (10 years or more). It should be remembered that the planting density and sowing amount depend on the type of soil, the forecrop, the amount of the expected yield, as well as the seed parameters (TGW, germination).
Plant protection	In the case of frequent cultivation on the same stand, it is recommended to treat it with an appropriate seed dressing. Application of insecticides and herbicides according to the recommendations of IOR. In weather conditions conducive to the development of anthracnose (high air humidity, high temperature, no wind), it is recommended to use prophylactic treatments with appropriate fungicides according to the recommendations of the IOR, especially if the first symptoms of paralysis occurred.
Harvesting	With a combine, after the pods are browned and the stems turn yellow, at a seed moisture content of 14–15%. Too low humidity during threshing causes seeds to break and microdamage inside them, it also causes pods to fall off in front of the harvester. Too high humidity causes an increase in the number of undisturbed and crushed pods. The humidity during the day is variable, therefore, when threshing large plantations, its changes should be monitored and the settings of the harvester thresher should be adjusted on an ongoing basis – the thresher is more twisted at higher humidity. Reel at low speed and not advanced, scythe well sharpened. Desiccate a re-weeded or unevenly ripened plantation when at least half of the pods have turned brown and start harvesting after about 7 days. Desiccation weakens the germination energy of seeds, so it should not be performed without a clear necessity. After harvesting, if necessary, dry the seeds with cold or slightly heated air. Increased humidity enables the secondary development of fungi and a decrease in the germination energy. Reduced germination power may also be the result of microdamages during threshing and storage, therefore the seed must be handled very carefully. During storage and processing, it is necessary to avoid pouring seeds from a great height onto hard ground.
