Products Winter Grains Winter wheat Patria
Patria is a winter wheat fodder variety characterised by a very high and stable yield. This was proven by the COBORU register studies conducted in 2021-2023. At both the a1 and a2 agrotechnical levels, it scored 107% compared to the standard in both years of the study, which is an above average result. The variety has very good adaptability in the varied climatic and soil conditions of Poland.
It is recommended for cultivation throughout the entire country. The Patria variety has the stem base breakage resistance gene Pch1, the plants are of medium height with stiff straw. This affects the resistance to lodging at milk stage and full maturity. Patria is distinguished by its high health profile.
Disease resistance has a significant impact on the yield and offers the possibility of reducing the amount of plant protection products used. This latest variety from Poznańska Hodowla Roślin has a stable yield at different sowing standards. Our own experiment comparing different planting densities provided the information indicating that high planting densities are not required to achieve high yields.
