Products Winter Grains Winter wheat Fuzja
Fuzja is a quality variety of winter wheat characterised by high and stable yields, proven by COBORU register studies carried out in 2021–2023. At the a1 agronomic level, the yields reached 101-102% of the standard, while at the a2 level Fuzja scored 101-103% compared to the standard.
The variety has very good adaptability in the varied climatic and soil conditions of Poland. It is recommended for cultivation throughout the entire country. The variety has the semi-dwarf gene, the plants are of medium height with stiff straw. This affects the resistance to lodging at milk stage and full maturity.
Fuzja is distinguished by its high health profile. Disease resistance has a significant impact on the yield and technological value of the grain, which allows the quantities of plant protection products used being reduced. In also has genes which improve resistance to brown rust!
The variety’s high winter hardiness (4.0) reduces the risk of loss caused by frost. Our experience shows that high plant density is not required to achieve high yields. It is a very high quality variety, with high protein content, very high falling number
and sedimentation, classified in the technological group A.
