The two-year average yield at the a1 level is 104% of the standard, while at the a2 level it is 103% of the standard (COBORU 2023).
The plants are of medium height, around 94 cm, with very high resistance to lodging. The variety is characterised by high resistance to fungal diseases, especially: stem base disease, brown rust, yellow rust and chaff septoria. Fantazja has genes responsible for resistance to powdery mildew and brown rust: Pm 2, Lr 16, Lr 68. The variety has a satisfactory winter hardiness of 3.5.
It has a high tillering ability and tolerates lower sowing standards – starting from 250 plants/m2. It is not a variety sensitive to spraying agents containing chlorotoluron. Fantazja is a variety with a very high falling number, high protein content
and good rheological parameters. It has a full and even grain with a high TGW and high hectolitre weight. It is ideally suited for milling purposes.
