Products Spring Grains Spring barley Komplet
Spring barley Komplet is a fodder variety with high resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to powdery mildew (8,1/9) but also to other diseases: blotching (8,1/9) or rhynchosporiosis (8,2/9). It is characterised by a high protein content in the grain – 12.3% – which translates into feedstocks with high nutritional values.
It is distinguished by its high grain uniformity (96%), which is higher than that of the standard varieties, as well as a low proportion of tailings. In addition, the high TGW of approximately 52 g allows a very generous yield to be achieved and increases the profitability of processing this variety for feedstocks. It offers high yields, above the average for the standard varieties, which has also been confirmed during dry years. It adapts very well to different soil conditions, making it suitable for sowing throughout the country. The plants are around 70 cm tall, with a low lodging tendency.
