Agrotechniczne warunki uprawy

Warunki glebowe Dla odmian ogólnoużytkowych grochu jadalnego właściwe są gleby od III do IV klasy, przy czym należy unikać gleb ciężkich, gliniastych oraz kwaśnych. W przypadku grochu pastewnego wymagane są gleby lżejsze od III do V klasy. Grochy powinny być uprawiane na glebach zachowanych w dobrej kulturze o odczynie zbliżonym do obojętnego.
Miejsce w płodozmianie Zalecane jest stanowisko po roślinach zbożowych w 3 roku po oborniku.
Nawożenie Nawożenie w zależności od zasobności gleby: P2O5 – 50–70 kg/ha, K2O – 80–100 kg/ha na wiosnę pod uprawki przedsiewne. Ilości nawozu należy dostosować do warunków na danym stanowisku.
Siew Właściwy termin siewu przypada na okres od połowy do końca marca – taki termin zapewnia dobre warunki dla wschodów i działania herbicydów doglebowych, dobrze rozwinięte rośliny lepiej zniosą suszę majową. Opóźnienie siewu skraca okres wegetacji i obniża plon nasion. Przy wczesnych siewach należy zwrócić uwagę na najczęściej zbyt dużą wilgotność gleby. Wtedy konieczna jest uprawa osuszająca glebę. Wysiew grochu w zbyt wilgotną glebę, zwłaszcza ciężką może spowodować zaskorupienie wierzchniej warstwy i utrudnienie wschodów. Niszczy się też struktura gleby zwłaszcza przy zastosowaniu aktywnych agregatów uprawowych. Optymalna głębokość siewu dla grochu to 6 cm na glebach cięższych i 8–10 cm na lżejszych. Wynika to z podziemnego (hipogeicznego) sposobu kiełkowania – liścienie pozostają w glebie, a część nadliścieniowa (epikotyl) wydłuża się wychodząc nad powierzchnię gleby. Płycej zasiane nasiona mogą być wypłukane przez deszcz i znaleźć się na powierzchni gleby, co negatywnie odbije się na dalszym rozwoju roślin. W nowoczesnej uprawie z zastosowaniem pestycydów rozstawa rzędów 12,5 cm dla grochu jest wystarczająca. Można stosować 15–20 cm. Większe rozstawy stosuje się przy mechanicznej uprawie międzyrzędzi.
Trzeba pamiętać, że w obrębie grochu siewnego występują różne formy jak: groch ogólnoużytkowy, grochopeluszki i peluszki. Formy te różnią się grubością nalotu woskowego na liściach i łodygach, długością systemu korzeniowego, zabarwieniem kwiatów i nasion oraz mogą różnie reagować na herbicydy nalistne i doglebowe oraz adjuwanty. Odmiany wąsolistne są mniej ustrączone i należy ich wysiewać więcej niż odmian tradycyjnych. Obsada roślin powinna kształtować się na poziomie
110–120 roślin na m2 dla form wąsolistnych, 100 roślin na m2 dla form o liściach normalnych. Należy pamiętać, że obsada i ilość wysiewu zależy od rodzaju gleby, przedplonu, wysokości oczekiwanego plonu, a także parametrów nasion (MTN, kiełkowanie). Dokładną ilość wysiewu można obliczyć przy użyciu kalkulatora, który znajduje się na naszej stronie.
Ochrona roślin W przypadku częstej uprawy na tym samym stanowisku zaleca się zaprawianie właściwą zaprawą nasienną. Stosowanie insektycydów oraz herbicydów według zaleceń IOR. W warunkach pogodowych sprzyjających rozwojowi askochytozy (wysoka wilgotność powietrza, wysoka temperatura, brak wiatru) zaleca się stosować zabiegi profilaktyczne właściwymi fungicydami
według zaleceń IOR, zwłaszcza jeśli wystąpiły pierwsze objawy porażenia.
Przed siewem można zastosować zaprawę nasienną. Na polach, gdzie nie uprawiano grochu, zalecane jest zastosowanie właściwej szczepionki bakteryjnej. Szczepienie powinno się odbyć w zacienionym miejscu, po wyschnięciu zaprawy. Woda chlorowana zastosowana podczas zaprawiania, słońce oraz wysoka zawartość miedzi i manganu w glebie szkodzą bakteriom brodawkowym. Przy chłodnej wiośnie i przedłużających się wschodach konieczne jest zwalczanie oprzędzików, a podczas kwitnienia groźnymi szkodnikami, które mogą zmniejszyć plon, są pachówka strączkóweczka, strąkowiec grochowy, wciorniastki oraz mszyce. Po przekroczeniu progu szkodliwości dla danego gatunku należy rozpocząć zwalczanie odpowiednimi substancjami aktywnymi.
Zbiór Termin zbioru określa się na podstawie dojrzałości nasion (90%) i suchości słomy. W przypadku nierównomierności dojrzewania nasion lub zachwaszczenia plantacji należy zastosować zabieg desykacji (ok. 65% nasion dojrzałych). Zbyt wczesne zastosowanie preparatu, a zwłaszcza jego górnej dawki może powodować pomarszczenie nasion zwłaszcza u form ogólnoużytkowych.
Jest to spowodowane nagłą utratą wody z niedojrzałych nasion. Zbiór nasion przy niskiej ich wilgotności około 11–14% powoduje wzrost liczby uszkodzonych nasion – przepołowienia oraz mikropęknięcia. Najlepiej zbierać groch o wilgotności nasion 15–16% i dosuszać go zimnym powietrzem. Uszkodzenia nasion mogą być potęgowane przez niewłaściwe ustawienie młocarni kombajnu lub przenośniki i maszyny stosowane do przerobu nasion.

SowingThe proper sowing date is from mid to the end of March – this date provides good conditions for emergence and the action of soil herbicides, well-developed plants can withstand the May drought better. The delay in sowing shortens the growing season and reduces the seed yield. In the case of early sowing, attention should be paid to the fact that the soil moisture is too high. Then it is necessary to tillage that drains the soil. Sowing peas in too moist soil, especially heavy soil, may cause crusting of the top layer and hindering emergence. The soil structure is also damaged, especially when active cultivation aggregates are used. The optimal sowing depth for peas is 6 cm on heavier soils and 8-10 cm on lighter soils. This is due to the underground (hypogeic) method of germination – the cotyledons remain in the soil, and the super-cotyledon part (epicotyl) lengthens reaching the soil surface. Shorter sown seeds can be washed away by rain and end up on the surface of the soil, which will have a negative impact on the further development of plants. In modern cultivation with the use of pesticides, a row spacing of 12.5 cm for peas is sufficient. 15-20 cm can be used. Larger spacing is used in the mechanical cultivation of inter-rows. It should be remembered that there are various forms within sowing peas, such as: general peas, peas and field peas. These forms differ in the thickness of the wax coating on the leaves and stems, the length of the root system, the color of flowers and seeds, and may react differently to foliar and soil herbicides and adjuvants. The mustache varieties are less drenched and should be sown more than the traditional varieties. Plant density should be at the level of 110–120 plants per m2 for tendrils forms, 100 plants per m2 for forms with normal leaves. It should be remembered that the planting density and sowing amount depend on the type of soil, the forecrop, the amount of the expected yield, as well as the seed parameters (MTN, germination).
Plant protectionIn the case of frequent cultivation on the same stand, it is recommended to treat it with an appropriate seed dressing. Application of insecticides and herbicides according to the recommendations of IOR. In weather conditions conducive to the development of ascochytosis (high air humidity, high temperature, no wind), it is recommended to use prophylactic treatments with appropriate fungicides according to the recommendations of the IOR, especially if the first symptoms of infection have occurred.
HarvestingThe harvest date is determined by the maturity of the seeds (90%) and the dryness of the straw. In the case of uneven seed maturation or weed infestation in plantations, we use desiccation (approx. 65% of mature seeds). Too early application of the preparation, especially its upper dose, may cause seed wrinkling, especially in general use forms.
This is due to the sudden loss of water from the immature seeds. Harvesting seeds at low humidity of about 11-14% causes an increase in the number of damaged seeds – halving and microcracks. It is best to collect peas with a seed moisture of 15-16% and dry them with cold air. Seed damage can be exacerbated by improper setting of the combine thresher or by conveyors and machines used for seed processing
